귀여운 욕 가르쳐줄게

Postby hydrospell » May 21st, 2009 5:09 pm

저는 한국어 잘 못해서, 영어로 이post을 써요.
(as my Korean is really horrible, I'll write this post in English)

저는 친구랑 MSN에 chatting했어요. 그리고 친구가 "귀여운 욕 가르쳐줄게" 라고 말을했어요.
(My friend and I were chatting on MSN and she said "귀여운 욕 가르쳐줄게")

So I checked the dictionary as to what is 욕, and what I got was "Bath". My friend gave me about 5 lines of "hahahahahahahaha" before I said "tell me what it is! I don't have a Korean teacher so don't laugh." So she said, that is slang. I said "ok, so tell me what does it mean!". She said, "that is slang!". We went back and forth for several times before I realised that the meaning of 욕 is "slang". :?

Anyway, the slang that she wanted to show me was 띨구. She had to go before she could explain what it means, so anyone with clues here? :D

감사합니다~

Actually 욕 doesn't mean 'slang' but rather means 'abuse' or 'slander'.
If she said '귀여운 욕' then it means 'a lite abuse' and it's not so bad word in Korean.

띨구 is 띨띨한 개 which means 'a stupid doggy'

Thanks for your invaluable insight, manyakumi.... I'm thinking of a suitable reply to my dear friend. 8)
