Hi, my wife and I are heading to Korea next week where we taught a couple of years ago. If I stop in at some of our favourite restaurants, how do I say
1. 'do you remember me?'
2. 'I lived here in 2006?'.
and, if I'm feeling confident: 3. 'please speak Korean'.

I lived here in 2006
제가 2006 에 여기서 살았어요.

please speak korean
한국말로 얘기 좀 하새요.

you know... I was going to say just "여기 살았어요" but then I started thinking that living is an action verb so I went with 여기서 even though it sounded slightly off.

So, I was wrong, but I'm not sure technically why I was wrong.

I'm pretty sure using 에서 there is not completly wrong, but it's usually just 에, or, in this case, nothing.

You can use all above.
But you said,

2006에 여기서 살았어요

The awkward part was '2006에', not '여기서'.
