Korean blogs?

Postby Alexis » January 27th, 2009 11:47 am

Hey again guys!

I just made a Korean-learning blog! (See link in my sig!) I was just wondering whether anyone else has one? It would be nice to read blogs of other people who are learning Korean, and to talk to people here somewhere other than this forum!! ^_^

If you have a blog, please leave it here so we can all share! :)

Hi Alexis,

Last fall I started a similar blog while in Korea http://koreadaily.blogspot.com however I found something better since then: www.lang-8.com

It's a site where you can write blog entries in any language and people of that mother tongue will correct it and comment on it.

Thanks, Erich! I signed up to that Lang-8 thing, and it looks kinda interesting! I'm not sure how much I'll use it yet, but I might later! Thanks!

Drop by and join our group http://lang-8.com/group/238 It has a brief tutorial, some tips, and the ability to link up with other KC101 students. See you there!

Hi Alexis. I visited your blog and I left a comment too.

I do have a blog too.. I'm still not writing in Korean, though. You can see the link at my signature. Just click Mylinguistics.

I have a blog but it's not in Korean  but in another foreign language [for me]: English!

I mostly use it to post up photos and to keep my friends updated when I'm not "home".
The last two month's entries are about Korea but I haven't uploaded/posted the last photos yet. I'm planning to do that in February. Sort of busy w/ other stuff at the moment...

Anyways, my Korean sucks, I couldn't blog in Korean...
maybe some day I'll make a youtube vid like some of you *giggle*

oh and the blog URL you can access via the "WWW" button under my posts
or it's http://vagabondyears.blogspot.com

As one of those people who do study/practice videos in Korean, I must say that it is both 1) humbling and 2) helpful. I would encourage anyone to vlog a small snippet at first and don't upload it (just yet) it can be quite educational to see yourself from a third person's perspective speaking the language.

I'm downright terrible at Korean but I can say that for the few months that I have been vlogging it has helped my studies.

Anyways, 화이팅!

I just don't know what to say... :?

BTW, I don't need to be humbled, I know I suck at Korean

kyuree: I hope you don't mind if you add your blog to my list?! XD

It's scary video-ing yourself. I was so nervous putting my first video online! LOL. Especially since it's SO bad!

Also: I don't know enough Korean to fully blog in Korean, either. *Sigh* Maybe one day...

yes, no problem about the linking :).

I recorded myself yesterday but I make stupid faces, blink too much, look around and so on... I'm not used to speaking in front of the camera...

I had lots of fun editing some "take-outs", though. I think I like editing more than being filmed :?

So I dunno whether I can edit sth. acceptable out of the Korean self-intro I filmed... if yes I might upload it...
I want to be good at it, too
