using 안녕하새여 as goodbye?

Postby waterbugg » January 7th, 2009 12:28 am

I was watching witch yoo-hee and as a man was leaving he said 안녕하새여. Can this be used as goodbye? Is it common?

Saying 안녕하세요 when leaving is not very common. ^^

Everybody would know what he meant from the situation, but it's rarely said that way. Maybe he meant to say 안녕히 계세요 really fast and ended up pronouncing it something like "안녀세요" ? :)

Or he might have said in the tone of imperative so that it could mean 안녕하시길 바래요/안녕히 지내세요.
Still it's not common situation though.

식사하세요.
공부하세요.
안녕하세요.
