Sounds like 부대찌개. The point is that it can have a great variety of things in it. The name means something like "Troop Soup". After the war, meat was hard to come by in the city, so people that lived around the US military base and had access to hot dogs and spam would use it in a stew thrown together with whatever other ingredients they could get that day. It's still served today, even though the ingredients have become somewhat standardized.
