Here's a KPop update for you:

Super Junior recently wrapped up promotions for their album starting with "Sorry Sorry" and then "너라고". Both very catchy songs.

2NE1 is gaining a lot of popularity with their music and 1st mini-album release. Should check'em out. Their first single was "Fire" and current singles making the rounds on music shows are "I Don't Care" and "Pretty Boy". Love their music.

4Minutes released a few weeks ago with their song "Hot Issue" and they're gaining fans quickly. But I'm not a fan of the song.

2PM started with "Again and Again" this year and are now doing "니가 밉다" on the music shows. Both are really great songs.

메이트 (Mate) - Was gaining popularity out of the spotlight, they are an indie rock group. Their album is pretty good.

Big Bang is currently promoting an albums in Japan, so you won't be hearing from them until later this year. Their old songs are pretty good though.

8Eight - Always great music from this group.

K.Will - Very talented ballad singer, if you're into that.

Mc Mong - Old songs are good.. slated to release a new album in the next few weeks

Shinee - Currently promoting their 2nd album and making rounds on music shows with the song "Juliette"

소녀시대 wrapped up promotions for "Gee" a month ago and are currently promoting a new mini-album. Their popular song right now is "Genie". Their songs are usually very catchy.

2ne1 is getting HUGE in Korea, The Philippines and in Thailand.
They also have a decent size fan base in Japan, and growing in the USA,
especially since Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas is producing their
American Debut Album. I <3 2ne1. I love all YG Entertainment groups
actually... 2ne1, Big Bang, GD & TOP, Taeyang, Se7en, Seungri etc

IU also has a very lovely and angelic voice. Especially look up her cover
of "Loving you." It's very good.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned SNSD... They're one of the biggest
Korean groups ever.... Though I prefer YG

I really like BigBang and FTIsland. The others are good too, but these two groups are my favorites.
